Meet The Team

KD Motorcycles Team Always Ready To Help

Andrew Eccles

Looking more and more like Billy Connoly every day (But nowhere near as funny !) but claiming it's his 'Distinguished Gentleman's look' Andrew has a passion for V twins in particular, and is the middle member of three generations of bikers in his family .

Sales Manger

Ian McDermott

Having been with us since leaving school some 35 years ago, there is little if anything that Ian doesn't know about bikes, blessed with an uncanny ability to remember model codes and specifications, he shoud be nicknamed Bikepedia ! His two wheeled pride and joy is a 1965 Lambretta Li 150 which takes pride of place in his lounge - we cant think of a better room odouriser mmmmmm 2 stroke heaven :-)

Sales Executive

Rick Moss

Short circuit races and the occasional foray in the IOM TT have been Rick's passions over the years, with a 40+ year career in the bike industry, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. However, what he adds in experience, he lacks in 21st century tech knowledge, so his emails can sometimes read a little odd !

Sales Executive

Barney

The most chilled member of the team, and probably the one most loved by staff and customers alike. Barney literally lives a dog's life here at KD, occasionally raising his head to snack on a chew bar or look adoringly at his best friend Rick

Flat out

Linda Dunbar

Its never an easy job being a Sales Administrator, salesmen can be sooooo demanding. Add in some IT difficulties (no names, no pack drill) and the job becomes a little bit more taxing. Linda takes this all in her stride, is probably your first point of contacting us by phone and also has the most important job in the dealership as our 'tuck monitor'

Sales Administrator

Tony Davy

Petrol seems to flow through Tony's veins, given the fact that when he isn't working on bikes, he's likely to be racing them. That's no bad thing either, because with technician training for all of our manufacturers under his belt, Tony is committed and focussed on first time fix, helping keep your 'down time' to a minimum

Technician

Simon Tomlinson

Don't let Simon's grey hair fool you, he's actually quite baby faced really. Laid back and chilled (for most of the day) he appears to be on the outside which suits the methodical approach he employs in problem fixing- a wealth of experience with numerous manufacturers sees him well placed when diagnosing and repairing faults.

Technician

Keith Dixon

Keith Dixon has been here, at this site man and boy, having been it's proud owner for pushing half a century. Despite his tenderish years, he can be found here three days a week, unless he is leading out rides or even enjoying the thrills of classic bike racing, competing in the IOM Classic TT no less !!
